About

Katherine grew up in Orlando, Florida and majored in English at the College of William and Mary in Virginia. After graduation, she began a career in Public Relations, first Civil Service with the US Army and then with the telecommunications giant Sprint. She has long given freely of her writing and editing talents in various social organizations.

 

She served as a board member and longtime tutor for Orlando’s Adult Literacy League and is a 28-gallon blood donor. Her hobbies include collecting vintage clothing and housewares; driving vintage cars; cooking; xeriscape gardening, with an emphasis on bromeliads; travel, especially to Amsterdam in the Netherlands; and helping other writers hone their skills.

 

She lives near downtown Orlando with her husband, Daniel, and their two cats, Jennie and Jewel.
